Ashmuqam mishap : Guv Malik announces free of cost treatment to all 24 injured girl students | KNO

Srinagar, May 03 (KNO) : Governor Satya Pal Malik has directed the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan to ensure free of cost treatment to all the 24 girl students who are injured in an an accident at Ashqmuqam on Friday. "Governor has directed us to ensure all the girl students injured in the accident at Ashmuqam today get timely and free of cost treatment at the hospital they have been admitted," Divisional Commissioner Kashmir told KNO. Twenty four girl students were injured after a School excursion bus met with an accident in Siligam area of Ashmuqam in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday afternoon. A school excursion bus bearing registration number JK03-2711 of Government High School Dudhkul Kokernag, that was carrying students and staff of the school for a picnic had turned turtle near Siligam in Ashmuqam. The accident had occurred when they were returning back from Phalgam. In the incident, twenty-four students were injured and were taken to Sub-District Hospital Seer for treatment.(KNO)
